Privacy policy
This policy explains what Kerfline ("we") does with the information you send us through the support form at kerflinestudio.com/support or by email to [email protected], and what happens when you read our documentation on kerflinestudio.com.
Who is responsible
Kerfline makes the Shopify theme Tenora and is operated by Tolga Hakan Cevikel, Montenegro, who is responsible for the information described here. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
What we collect
When you contact support, we collect only what you enter:
- your name and email address
- your store URL, and the theme, preset and theme version you use
- the subject and description of your request
- files you attach, such as screenshots
- your storefront password, only if you choose to give it so we can see a password-protected store
Please never send your Shopify admin password. If we need access to your store, we send a collaborator request that you can accept or decline in your Shopify admin.
Why we use it
We use this information only to answer your request, fix problems with the theme and keep a record of the conversation. The legal basis is your request itself (so we can provide the support you ask for) and your consent in the form. We don't sell your information, use it for advertising or add you to a mailing list.
Who processes it for us
- Jotform runs the support form, sends the automatic confirmation email and stores your submission and files.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards email sent to [email protected] to our inbox.
- Our email provider stores the emails we exchange with you.
These companies act on our instructions and may process data outside your country, under their own data protection terms and safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep support requests, emails and files for 24 months after your request is closed, then delete them. A storefront password is deleted as soon as your request is closed.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. If you live in the EU, the UK or another region with data protection laws, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
This website
The documentation doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser remembers your light or dark mode choice locally; it isn't sent to us. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
